Encore une activité de neige des plus déroutantes : le snowtubing. Difficile de deviner ce qu’il en est juste en lisant le nom : il s’agit en fait de dévaler une piste parsemée de quelques petites bosses, et éventuellement de virages, sur une sorte de grosse bouée gonflable. Une activité de glisse pure très prisée des enfants !
Ce n’est pas toutes les stations qui permettent de faire les fous sur des bouées, mais on en compte tout de même quelques-unes, comme celle d’Aussois (73). Pour 4 euros la demi-heure, on peut descendre les deux pistes disponibles. Dans le Parc de Pilat, ce sont 3 pistes qui sont disponibles ! On en trouve également à Rochejean, tout près de Métabief, ainsi qu’à la station de Vars.
